I have heard far too many intelligent, independent women complain that men are turned off by a woman with brains and self-confidence. Nothing could be further from the truth for me. Suffice it to say, I am turned on by a woman with a really big set of ... bookshelves. I am amicably divorced after 25 years of marriage, with three brilliant ren who have all left the nest for college or graduated from college. I am undeniably a geek - a sci-fi loving, board game playing, comic book collecting geek. I must confess to numerous similarities between me and the guys in The Big Bang Theory. Then I came to realize that creating high-tech addictions was not a very meaningful way to make a living. Now I coordinate faculty development at a community college, and run my own side business doing career coaching. People are much more fascinating than computers anyway.
